Skills-Scan

On this two day course you will work through the Alan d Foundation Cut and Colour techniques and therefore we get to understand the level of your skill allowing us to create a bespoke targeted programme of improvement. We can focus solely on the techniques that you need to improve allowing you to quickly optimise your skills and your earning potential.

Once the initial two-day Skills-Scan is completed, Alan d will write a tailored programme to be agreed on and/or sent back your employer. Your training could then start immediately.

The initial Skills-Scan can also be run in your salon as a Workshop (price tbc).

Do I need any qualifications to apply for your Comprehensive Hair Colouring Course?
No, you don’t need any specific qualifications for this Beginner’s Course. However, spoken English is essential. It’s ideal for those who’ve had some basic Hairdressing training such as cutting and styling but have no colouring experience.


Can I take this course part-time?
Yes, you can take our Comprehensive Hair Colouring Course part-time. You must attend classes a minimum of 3 consecutive days a week to complete the course.


Is Alan d certification recognised across the Hairdressing industry?
Yes, our certification is recognised across the Hairdressing industry and is a great asset to your Hairdressing CV.


Which hair-colouring products do you use in your Hair Colouring Courses?
We use salon-only professional brands to ensure that you learn with the type of products that you would use in a professional Salon.


What will this course allow me to do on the Salon floor?
The aim of this course is to help you learn all about hair colouring, including product knowledge, application techniques, root coverage, full-head colour, foils, meche and balayage.


Do you have a more Advanced Hair Colouring Course?
Yes, our Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing and Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing Courses include hair colour training.
