With over 60 years of experience in the industry, both as salon owners and with hairdressing and barber schools, we know that practical training makes a great hairdresser or barber. We have also been involved in Apprenticeship training for nearly 30 years and partner with some of the leading Hairdressing Salons & Barbershops in London and throughout the UK. We are currently one of the highest achieving hairdressing and barbering schools in the country with an Apprenticeship success rate of over 90% at the EPA (End Point Assessment)

Our Hairdressing & Barbering Schools

We currently teach from two locations in the UK. Our Hairdressing Academies are situated in the historic Smithfield area of London and Ipswich Town Centre in Suffolk. With 2 convenient locations and over a 90% pass rate at the End Point Assessment (EPA), we really are the number one destination for a Hairdressing course or Barbering course. Our Barbering and Hairdressing Schools are purpose-built using bespoke equipment and created to reflect the look and feel of a Salon or Barbershop.

Our history

Alan Hemmings has been part of the hairdressing and barbering industry for 60 years and ensures that the highest standards taught to him are still met today. In 2010 his dedication to the industry was rewarded by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing with a Lifetime Achievement Award for services to Hairdressing & Education.

Creative Director & Director of Education Edward Hemmings left a career in Banking nearly 30 years ago to train with the company. He now ensures the smooth-running of the Hairdressing and Barbering schools in London and Ipswich whilst looking after his numerous clients and running industry events as a host and compere.
